About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.
Job Responsibilities
- To supervise, lead and manage both strategic and non-strategic projects
- To work out with team on project budget, project costing and project timeline.
- To manage the project approval process
- To monitor and track the progress of the project on the timeline, costing and resources
- To provide the reports to management on the progress of the project
- To facilitate the project working team discussion and project steering committee discussion
- To escalate issue if any
- To coordinate the team in preparing necessary in order to notify or seeking approval from regulator.
- To conduct post implementation review
- To coordinate with team in project cost closing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree with Certification PMP preferred
- Proven experience in IT Project Management and or Application Delivery in Banking industries
- Solid project management skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Has knowledge on IT Architecture, operating system (i.e: Linux, Unix), Database (i.e: Oracle, MS SQL) is plus
- Fluency in both written and verbal English
- Able to work under minimum supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively
- Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multicultural diverse work experiences
