SEMICONDUCTOR & ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS (SAS)

Job Purpose
Under the direction of Semiconductor Assembly Business Manager, the Structural Polymers Line Of Business Leader provides tactical, technical and strategic product line development and support to execute growth objectives. This role is also responsible to support the strategic account team and commerical teams globally.
Job Responsibilities
- Works closely with Business Unit VP on strategies for the Structural Polymers product lines and growth objectives
- Works closely with R&D and application team to identify needs and to formulate next generation products
- Define product and technology needs and gaps, measure opportunities, and establish business justification for new projects. Validate that solutions provided meet defined market requirement
- Manage team of technical support and application engineers
- Provide leadership guidance and direction for technical support tasks
- Work with commercial sales team to identify and target customers for strategic growth
- Pricing policy in consultation with sales
- Preparation of annual product line budget plan and quarterly forecast budget targets
- Key product and technical resource for commercial team
- Performs regular analysis of product line opportunities situation using corporate CRM tool
- Performs regular analysis of product line situation including changes in revenues, margins and market share. Determines causes for significant changes and works with appropriate levels of management to develop and implement any required action
- Closely monitors market conditions communicating all major technology shifts, legal or regulatory changes, customer trends and competitor activity
- Contributes to revisions of the Product Line Technology Road Map (TRM) and regularly presents the TRM to key accounts. Collects and records input from various sources (customers, competitors, consortia, etc…) that may generate a change to the TRM
- Maintains close contact to the strategic account and Sales team and helps drive sales of assigned products
- Identify target markets in semiconductor market, including growth drivers, trends, and customers, with an emphasis on new product application possibilities.
- Identify market window timing, size, demand, competiton and resources needed to create business propositions.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (i.e. engineering, sciences, etc.)
Seven to Nine years related experience in product management and marketing
Competencies
- Must be able to travel up to a maximum of 25% of working time globally and domestically.
- Familiarity with the camera module and/or High Performance Computing Semiconductor assembly industries
- Be a team member participating in a cross-functional team environment translating customer needs into technology solutions.
- Possess leadership skills and the ability to drive project goals via influence on the organization
