We are looking for a Sales Executive for a reputed Perfume Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, promote products, and drive sales in a retail environment and will engage with customers, understand their preferences, and help them find the right fragrance products. Your product knowledge, communication skills, and customer-centric approach will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service and Sales:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right fragrance products based on their preferences.
- Provide product information, recommendations, and advice to customers.
- Engage in active selling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate and explain product features, benefits, and usage to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and friendly manner.
2. Product Promotion and Merchandising:
- Maintain an attractive and organized retail environment, including product displays, shelves, and signage.
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to ensure appealing product presentations.
- Stay updated on new product launches, promotions, and sales events.
- Actively promote and educate customers about special offers, discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Participate in product training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling techniques.
3. Sales Transactions and Inventory Management:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash and electronic payments, issue receipts, and provide appropriate change.
- Maintain proper stock levels by monitoring inventory and restocking shelves as needed.
- Conduct periodic stock checks and report any discrepancies or product shortages.
- Collaborate with the retail team and store manager to ensure proper inventory management.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Collect customer feedback, preferences, and contact information for future marketing initiatives.
- Follow up with customers to provide after-sales support and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to contribute ideas for customer engagement activities.
5. Store Operations and Compliance:
- Adhere to store policies, procedures, and security measures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail area, including display counters and shelves.
- Comply with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Assist in store opening and closing procedures, as required.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; additional education or certification in sales or retail is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in the perfume or beauty /cosmetics industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
- Excellent selling skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Product knowledge and familiarity with fragrance categories, notes, and popular perfume brands.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple customer interactions.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
