Job Description:

As an Intermediate Bookkeeper, you will need a sound knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping in public practice, and admin procedures. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Full cycle accounting.
  • Bank and general ledgers reconciliations.
  • Payroll preparation and government remittances.
  • Month end closing procedures.
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable management.

Requirements:

  • Accounting degree or diploma
  • Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Min 2+ years of Canadian Bookkeeping experience in Public Practice.
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online & QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Access to a reliable and secure internet connection.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision.

Salary: $25,000.00 - $27,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • QuickBooks Online / Desktop: 1 year (Required)
  • Canadian Bookkeeping in Public Practice: 2 years (Required)
